DM SIGNS & DESIGN PUT AIR UNLIMITED ON THE MAP WITH MD5-A!
It's a big idea. It's a big building. It needs big graphics to get its message across…
 
Take a cavernous, unoccupied building near Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport. Repurpose it totally. Cram it to the roof with every means and appliance needed to have a great time, work off some energy and leave with the idea you’re coming back for more. That’s Air Unlimited - bring your own adrenaline.
 
Air Unlimited is a big idea. It’s a place that the young, and the young at heart, can go and safely get some air-time. There’s trampolines, there’s a climbing wall, there’s ledges to jump off and air bags to land on. Everything needed to work off excess energy and burn a few cals.
 
Air Unlimited isn’t just a big idea. It’s a big place too. Like most estate-bound commercial buildings, though, it’s an anonymous looking place with little to attract the eye from the other places around it. Or rather it was until Wigan based DM Signs and Display rocked up and gave the place a big makeover.
 
Working with data supplied by a design team in Sheffield, the team from DM Signs did a detailed site survey during the internal fit-out and came up with a range of bespoke graphics to fit. From the outside, the most obvious is a branded window graphic that’s as big as the building itself and that really turns heads.
 
The DM Signs team printed the window graphic on Metamark MD5-A and had no trouble applying the printed material to the building’s glazed surfaces thanks to the MD5-A’s MetaScape air-evacuation adhesive. Not a bubble to be seen. The building? That’s another matter - now, you can’t miss it. Air Unlimited has a brand presence that’s as big as the idea itself.
 
DM Signs also supplied Air Unlimited with post-panels signs produced using Metamark materials and even went to the extent of branding painted locker doors with cut and applied Metamark M7 vinyl graphics. The walls inside the building are a mixture of direct printed foamed PVC and applied vinyl elements. Notably, some of the panel-work is made from painted OSB.
 
The Air Unlimited brand succeeds in looking a cohesive whole despite the size and range of the project. Customers get to bounce off their energies in a safe environments that’s alive with high octane colours and superb stylised graphics. As big ideas go, Air Unlimited is a big success and thanks to Signs and Graphics by DM Signs and a few carefully chosen materials from Metamark, everyone knows about it.
