FESPA Berlin was everything we’ve come to expect from a leading international industry event…
Exhibitions exert quite a pull on the industries they serve, and when it comes to those looking after the interests of the sign, display, and allied industries, FESPA is among the most influential of the national events.
Metamark was delighted to support the latest FESPA show in Berlin in May and had a stand manned by representatives from its international team and technical and commercial personnel on hand to greet and engage visitors.
It was a very successful event for Metamark.
Our stand attached a lot of positive comments from representatives from our distribution partner network, and, with the stand’s architects and designers on-hand, we were alert to any improvement opportunities that were noted. The stand was home to some engaging live product demonstrations and exhibits announcing extensions to popular material ranges.
MiA™, our range of International Architectural Films continues to generate great interest among wrappers and producers working in vehicle graphics and signage markets. In MiA, these companies have a means to engage with profitable new markets in architectural transformation and interior refurbishments. MiA is compliant with the skills these producers already understand and practice, and with tools that that they already own. MiA’s message on this occasion was ‘there’s more.’
FESPA saw us introducing fourteen new MiA finishes extending the range to forty-one. With the range comprising solid colours, textures, woods, metals and other attractive finishes, there’s a MiA product to satisfy the aesthetic and functional needs of any project. Our distribution partners gave the range its positive vote too and the product will soon be on shelves practically everywhere.
Another popular material range getting a powerful enhancement with new colours being added was Metamark’s premium cast colour-change wrapping product - MetaCast® MCX. This range has often been characterised as a curated collection of notable colours and the new enhancements continue that theme with twelve new big personality colours occupying corners and spaces in the existing range so extending its application and design possibilities.
MCX Colours reflect those OEM finishes found adorning some of the world’s most exotic cars and punctuating them with colours that further reflect contemporary tastes that are simply not available anywhere else. The MCX range is a go-to resource for successful wrap operators for whom no compromise is tolerated. It’s premium all the way.
While Metamark is noted for groundbreaking product introductions and innovations, FESPA also celebrated the enduring attraction of Metamark’s legacy in innovation. In particular, Metamark MD5, our flagship digitally printable staple film. The message there was, you can have MD5 performance and quality across a range of MD5 products that greatly expand the product’s sphere of application. Any surface, any project, there’s an MD5 product that can be used.
Metamark M7 was there too - a ‘riot of colour’ to borrow a familiar term, but all realised into a very highly evolved coloured film range that signmakers have been, and continue to turn toward, when a cut and applied application needs the best material for the job. Everyone loves Metamark M7.
Our live events attracted a lot of visitors to the stands, many of whom wanted to exchange greetings with Paige Walton from the Metamark Academy who demonstrated Metamark’s latest materials in a practical wrapping application. While Paige is among the industry’s most respected personalities, she always does a wonderful job of shown what’s possible with our materials and a few foundation skills.
We had deep technical representation on the Metamark stand too with Darren Bishop on hand to get deep into application and product-design conversations. With state-of-the-art adhesives, highly evolved liners, and custom-formulated face films comprising most Metamark products, Darren has a lot of positive detail to promote. We engaged with representatives of a number of brands looking for solid alliances with capable materials that are widely available.
FESPA gets a positive review from Metamark. The event promoted itself quickly to an occasion. It was well promoted and attended by just the sorts of people we’d hoped to meet. We’d like to thank Berlin too. You were an excellent host to this important event, and we were spoiled for choice when the time came to close the business day, recover, relax, and explore.
