The high tack adhesive of MD5-HB has been developed to apply to ‘difficult to stick to’ surfaces, smooth low energy plastics such as PE and PP, and for interior wall decor applications (for use on smooth, sealed interior walls – refer to the Wall coverings application guide within our Application Guidelines section).

The product gives the additional assurance of the high bond adhesive with the MD5 series film. MD5-H-B delivers outstanding print performance through the combination of Metamark’s distinctive coating technology, and high performance grade polymeric calendered film. Metamark MD5-HB is matched to MetaGuard 700 and MetaGuard UV 700 overlaminates to ensure consistent results. MetaGuard 700 advanced formulation delivers superb optical clarity ensuring that the underlying print really “pops.” It also provides superior levels or abrasion resistance and extended durability for exterior applications onto flat or curved surfaces. MetaGuard UV 700 is a 70 micron polymeric calendered vinyl overlaminate for use with UV Prints. The specially formulated solvent based adhesive gives a high bond to the low energy surface of UV prints and overcomes silvering. |
