Since its founding in 2012, Mission Motorsport has helped thousands on their journey from military service to civilian life, using the thrill of motorsport and the strength of community to support recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration.

Motorsport is more than just a shared passion - it’s a powerful tool for change. As one beneficiary, Chris, puts it:

Recovery through Motorsport

Living by its mantra - Race. Retrain. Recover. - the charity’s sporting programme provides a safe, positive space where beneficiaries can rebuild confidence, form connections, and begin their next chapter.

From passenger rides and track days to headline events like the Race of Remembrance, Mission Motorsport brings together veterans, amateur drivers, and professionals to celebrate teamwork, resilience, and recovery.

Retraining for Civilian Life

Beyond the racetrack, Mission Motorsport offers accredited training and qualifications, opening doors into careers in Automotive, Manufacturing, and Renewable Energy. Their strong industry partnerships give veterans the opportunity to thrive in new roles and industries.

The charity’s work doesn’t go unnoticed - Race of Remembrance was awarded Motorsport UK’s Event of the Year 2024, a fitting recognition for an event that blends high-performance racing with heartfelt remembrance.

Banter, Brews & Cars

On a more local scale - but no less impactful - Banter, Brews & Cars is a monthly event at Three Sisters Circuit near Wigan. With a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and adrenaline-fuelled experiences like outdoor karting and car control sessions, these days offer something for everyone. Veterans and their families can enjoy passenger rides and hands-on activities in a wide variety of high-performance cars—thanks to the generosity of an ever-growing team of volunteer drivers and supporters.

How Metamark Helps

Mission Motorsport maintains a fleet of special vehicles that play a vital role in their recovery and outreach efforts - and every one of them needs to look the part. That’s where we come in.

At Metamark, we’re proud to provide the materials that bring these vehicles to life - from the charity’s standout Subaru BRZ (a former category 'N' write-off, restored and converted onto hand controlls for use by disabled veterans) to their split-control Mazda MX-5, cleverly liveried as Lightning McQueen to spark joy in both drivers and spectators alike. Whether it’s for racing, training, or community engagement, we supply the MetaCast® MDC Premium Cast Wrapping Film that makes sure each vehicle represents the charity with the quality and style it deserves.

The charity also uses these materials to create and apply stickers at events - branding each car as part of the Mission Motorsport family while also selling branded stickers to raise crucial funds.
