Low energy and other challenging surfaces meet their match with Metamark’s new M7-H SignVinyl…
Metamark’s M7 range of high-performance coloured SignVinyl for computer-cut applications is going to find new uses and extend its established and growing fan-base even further thanks to the introduction of M7-H. The new product adds a specialised high-tack adhesive to the existing range’s considerable attractions.
The new adhesive is available on the range’s White Gloss and Matt films in addition to Black Gloss and Matt and the very popular Nimbus Grey. The 70 Micron Face Film is unchanged, as is the product’s 135gsm liner which enjoys a great reputation for laying flat and staying that way. Available in 1200mm rolls, M7-H is rated for applications requiring extended durability, 7 or 8 years in this case.
The new adhesive is a bespoke formulation expressly designed to cope with the application conditions often encountered with challenging surfaces. Products made from a-polar plastics, bins and sports-goods like canoes for example, either reject conventional adhesives or provoke chemically induced modes of shrinkage. Applied to these surfaces, M7-H will endure and look good for years. Other sound surfaces requiring an enhanced adhesive bond represent a good fit for M7-H too.
Despite its new performance levels in the adhesion arena, M7-H retains the soft qualities that make the M7 range so attractive to signs and graphics producers. It cuts cleanly using modern sign making plotter hardware and weeds effortlessly so facilitating the resolution of fine levels of detail in type, logos or graphics. When it’s time to apply graphics produced using M7-H, the product is happy with either wet or dry techniques and both flat and simple curved surfaces when applied unstressed.
With the introduction of M7-H, the application space available to cut and applied graphics is made considerably larger and there are more commercial opportunities for signs and graphics producers to pursue. Samples of the new product are available by contacting Metamark - sales@metamark.co.uk
