LIFTING YOUR PRESENCE WITH METAMARK

LIFTING YOUR PRESENCE WITH METAMARK

When applied graphics absolutely have to stick and stay stuck, where do you turn?

Facilities management companies deliver a whole range of services to those who own industrial buildings and so help to keep such buildings’ occupiers operating comfortably and effectively. Some facilities managers have very large portfolios of buildings to manage and, so, the need for maintenance and other interventions becomes less a matter of chance, and more a matter of statistical certainty.

Planned interventions too are part of a facility management company’s day. Routine maintenance, replacing life-limited finishes and surveys are all part of the range of responsibilities needing to be discharge. To do it properly, facilities managers need people, they need plant and they need a brand to underpin the businesses.

Sunderland based EMS, Express Managed Services, offers customers in the region and beyond a range of specialist services including Electrical and Mechanical, Data and AV and Network Management Support. It needs access to all the corners of its clients’ facilities to do its job properly. It has all the hardware needed to do its job safely too. Including a couple of recently acquired Genie Boom Lifts. Like all the company’s access assets, the booms needed branding and the job fell to Signs Express (Newcastle) nearby.

Access plant leads a very hard life and is built to take it. It’s heavily built and its panel surfaces are made of composite materials so that hard knocks bounce off and accumulated battle-rash can be easily cleaned too. That makes for a challenge in getting graphics to stick reliably. A-polar surfaces don’t take prisoners when it comes to adhesives.

Thankfully, Adam Greaves and his team at Signs Express know a thing or two about getting materials to stick to reluctant surfaces and so too does its materials supplier - Metamark. The team reached for a roll of Metamark MDP-H and printed the colourful EMS logo on it. MDP-H features a special adhesive that’s design for precisely the kind of surfaces that throw off ordinary material. Once adhered, MDP-H graphics stay that way and they tend not to shrink too so avoiding the messy black outline that using ordinary materials on composite surfaces more or less guarantees. That wound’t do for EMS or Signs Express.

Thanks to Signs Express, EMS’s Boom Lifts can go forth and look every inch the pro-kit they are. EMS’s customers in industry can benefit from the service and interventions that keep business humming and be in no doubt at all that it’s EMS that’s doing the job.

Nice one, Signs Express Newcastle.
