Sign Supplier is one of Manchester’s, and the UK’s, most progressive signs and graphic manufacturing companies. Sign Supplier covers the whole gamut in terms of the signage it designs, manufacture and installs. Among the products it offers is bespoke graphics for site and construction hoardings and wraps for temporary service and accommodation buildings serving the various needs of building sites.

Such graphics can be designed for many purposes including advertising the development under construction or informing the surrounding community about the work in progress with such things as infographics and team biographies and pictures. The applied graphics typically need to do their jobs for a matter of a few months before being rotated or taken out of commission. Despite that, quality is a critical consideration and so is the need for durability in challenging environments.

The team at Sign Supplier has recently switched production of its hoarding and site graphics to Metamark’s MD-RA digital print media and is also using the product’s matching laminate. The switch was prompted by the team’s desire to offer its customers an environmentally friendly product for short-term applications without compromising Sign Supplier’s high quality standards. 

Metamark MD-RA is part of a growing portfolio of Metamark materials that are compliant with the company’s MetaStream® process. The process takes waste liner and film resulting from production of the printed and laminated graphics, and finished graphics recovered at the end of their lives, and recycles them into useful products that can themselves be recycled time and again.

Sign Supplier has now provisioned graphics for several sites and has engaged its customers’ support for using fully recyclable materials to the extent that many have now specified their use for hoardings and other project.
