High Streets nationwide have seen lots of comings and goings recently and, sadly, some of them are witness to so many businesses closing that many town centres’ welcoming smiles now look as though they’re minus a few teeth. One bright spot though is barber shops. In terms of new businesses establishing themselves on the high street, barbers represent one of the fastest growing categories.
Barbers have a bit of an obligation to look well groomed themselves of course - both personnel and premises. They, businesses, need to favourably distinguish among themselves, and propel an appealing identity to potential customers. That’s a mission that delivered by the skilled hands which do the barbering job and the presentation of brands. Sound like a job for quality signs then.
Businesses on the trail of quality signs in Hamshire and further afield often find themselves in conversation with Hedge End based Elmtree Signs. Among them is Jack Rabbits. It’s a barbers and they’ve been working with Elmtree Signs for a few years now. In that time, the Elmtree Signs team has developed a good understanding of Jack Rabbits’ brand and what it represents to the market it’s aimed at.
Elmtree Signs got a call recently from Jack Rabbits because they wanted to rejuvenate the exterior of their Southampton shop. The conversation established that a new fascia would be involved and and that the windows and doors would get some attention too. The Elmtree Signs team sharpened its pencils and prepared a design and proposal that was agreed as the way forward.
A new fascia was constructed with very attractive dimensional lettering mounted over a field of matt background colour on stand-offs. The letters were faced with Metamark M7 Gold and the fascia’s background contrasts powerfully being covered with M7 in Matte Black. The finished article looks rooted in an era past but is made with up-to-date material so ensuring that it’ll not just last, it’ll stay looking good too.
The main logos on the shop’s windows reflect the business’s branding and are rendered in artfully cut and applied Metamark M7 in Black and Gold and they’re reverse-cut and applied inside. Metamark M7comes supplied featuring Metamark’s Apex Adhesive. This is is a crystal-clear formulation that’s idea for application to transparent surfaces and glazing as it resists any inclination to look milky and so doesn’t obscure the face film.
The good work supplied by Elmtree Signs to Jack Rabbits continues a business relationship that’s seen the Hampshire signs and graphics producer supply it quality products to Jack Rabbits’ Winchester and Botley shops too. With it’s refreshed graphics and sign working hard promoting the business, it’s busy times ahead for the popular barber. Elmtree Signs is going to be fully occupied too.
Nice work.
