January this year marked the 20th edition of the the SGI show in Dubai. The event is the largest of its kind in the region and it boasts truly international credentials putting it on par with other headlining exhibitions in the USA and Europe.

The 20th event attracted exhibitors from thirty countries and the show going audience who came to see them had travelled from seventy eight. Continuing the impressive roster of numbers, over five hundred leading brands were represented at the show, promoted by an ensemble of over four hundred exhibitors. According to the exhibitors, the show was a huge success with over ninety percent saying they'd be back for the 21st edition early in 2018.

Metamark CEO, Paul French and Export Sales Manager Dan Sefton made the journey to SGI Dubai and met with our distribution partner in the region, Signtrade International. Signtrade is headquartered in state-of-the-art headquarters in Jafza, UAE and has a flagship showroom in Dubai. Conducting business through fifteen branches in the Middle East and Pakistan, Signtrade also has a presence in Nairobi, Kenya.

Thanks to Signtrade, Metamark's brand is well known in the region and was enthusiastically welcomed at this year's SGI, just has it always has been. Signtrade represents the connection between Metamark's products and the whole industry in the region and, as anyone in the industry would agree, our products couldn't be in more capable or respected hands.

The show lasted for three days but memories of it will endure. Paul French said - "It was an absolute pleasure to visit SGI with Dan again this year and see the whole regional industry spread out for appreciation.
