What do you do when you’ve something you need to promote and a place you need to promote it but there’s no obvious place to put a sign? You call Lincoln based Venture Signs and they do something inventive with Metamark ClearVision…
Windows are pretty much the manmade landscape’s eyes on the world, and they’re there for a number of reasons. They keep the worst of the wind and weather out of the interior spaces they tend to protect. They admit daylight so improving the wellbeing and comfort of a building’s occupiers. And they make an often dramatic architectural impact representing, as they do, a significant part of a building’s frontage.
Understandably, people can be a bit circumspect when it comes to obscuring a view, or obliterating a window with applied material. On occasions though, an expanse of glass is perfectly positioned and would represent an ideal site for an advertisement or promotion. In those situations, solutions are found by those who know where to look for them.
The University of Lincoln is a regular client of Lincoln based Venture Signs and came looking for the means to promote its prestigious student accommodation in a location on the campus that benefitted from a huge foot-fall of potential customers. The obvious place to put the advertisement was in a lift lobby upon an area of glazing. The problem was that such an advertisement would block the natural light reaching the other side of the glazing.
Venture Signs, always of top of the details, had the answer. It proposed a printed, total coverage advertisement printed on Metamark MD-CV100 - Metamark Clear Vision. This product is comprised of a top quality Metamark MD-Class face film backed with a layer of black. The construction is perforated so that from the design side, any colour, pattern or printed matter is plainly visible and looks solid. From the other side though, a clear view through is maintained and light can get through too.
Venture Signs has done nothing less than a brilliant job with its Metamark ClearVision sign. The detail is perfectly legible and there’s a degree of transparency in the darker areas that makes the graphic look like something designed in best practice terms for a computer screen and yet rendered in the real work. It doesn’t just ‘work,’ it works brilliantly.
Venture Signs prides itself on tending to every detail and it’s details that count in the final analysis. They’ve specified the right material, they’ve formulated the right design, the printed and applied it perfectly. The applied graphic will be changed in about a year. Until then, it’s message will be reaching thousands of potential customers.
