WELSH ASSEMBLY VOTES FOR PRINT SAUCE USING MD5-H
As the world comes to terms with the reality of moving around and conducting business in an environment where every individual in it is effectively ring-fenced, hastily contrived measures and notices have proliferated. They all have a role to play. The goal is to keep people, whether they’re visitors, customers or otherwise, at a safe distance from staff and from each other. We also want to keep those same people close to key messages, to brands and to other identities though.
Caerphilly based signs and graphics producer Print Sauce is no stranger to getting a message across. The company’s clientele include the NHS and involves signing applications where harmoniously integrated and highly legible signs are not just desired but mandated. Print Sauce doesn’t just deliver, it does so within deadlines, on-brand and in two languages as required in Wales.
The call on this occasion came from the Welsh Assembly facility - soon to rename itself The Welsh Parliament. Floor Graphics were required delivering the distancing message to the Assembly’s visitors and staff in the required two languages. The design was supplied so it was Print Sauce’s production expertise that was top of the facility’s shopping list.
Print Sauce’s print and production team elected to use Metamark MD5-H for the job and to pair that with Metamark’s MetaGuard ‘FloorArt’ so producing a BS 7676-2:2002 compliant anti-slip graphic that also satisfies DIN 51130:2014 R9. With the MD5-H layer of the assembled graphic being responsible for handling the ink, quality, MD-Class Quality, was assured.
This was Print Sauce’s first job for the Welsh Assembly and was delivered on time and within budget just like everything Print Sauce undertakes. Quality was a given and the supplied job is now in situ and doing exactly what was intended.
For a while, the world’s going to have to get used to the idea of keeping its distance and thanks to measures like those Print Sauce has supplied, reminders are everywhere we look. Unlike the very first responses to the issue, distancing graphics now look more considered and of higher quality. Print Sauce can be relied upon for that.
