MetaStream® is a certified closed-loop recycling1 initiative that that recovers all production waste and end-user products produced using qualified Metamark products, turning them into useful articles that can themselves be recycled time and again. This circular recycling initiative has far-reaching scope for application keeping valuable resources out of landfill and incineration streams and enabling environmentally responsible operation and growth of the signage, graphics and allied industries.
In partnership with Climate Partner, one of the leading carbon offset organisations, Metamark is proudly achieving a carbon neutral status on selected products within it’s MetaStream Ready™️ range. This carbon offset initiative sees Metamark directly fund Climate Partner project #1258, a wind energy project in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. Several small wind farms in the districts of Shimoga and Chitradurga generate clean electricity with a total of 34 turbines and a total capacity of 56 MW, which is fed into the Indian grid. The low-emission technology thus contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases.
