SCRAPE RIGHT – SCRAPERITE
When you’re applying self-adhesive materials to substrates, there’s always something icky that’s best removed from the substrate before you start. What the cloth and fluids won’t get off is then best left to the blade. Trouble is, most blades don’t discriminate between substrate and dirt and that’s when the trouble begins. However careful you are, razor-sharp metal blades readily take a chunk out of most substrates and that’s no good for business.
We’ve a suggestion - don’t reach for the razor or Stanley blades, reach for the phone, call Metamark, and ask the real person you’ll then be speaking to about our ‘Lil-Gripper and its matching blades. It’s a wonderful tool and every signmaker should have one or more.
The ‘Lil-Gripper itself is a very comfortable handle and blade holder. In keeping with the fashion of doing what it says on the tin, it’s designed to grip - blades in this case. The blades are the clever bit. They do what metal blades do but they’re not metal. Instead they’re available in a range of plastics that do the job without the scary possibility they’ll damage something.
The orange one can lend a hand to pretty much any scraping task - it’s a general purpose blade. The blue one has a love of polycarbonate and the yellow one prefers acrylic. If you want a heavy duty blade, that’ll be the black one. The all fit the same ‘Lil-Gripper handle. They all perform brilliantly and they’re all in our WrapTools accessories catalogue.
If you’ve not got a copy of the catalogue yet, we’ll send you one. Mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and it’s as good as delivered. In there you’re going to find a lots of other wrappers’ essentials keeping the scrapers company. Call us now if you’d rather.
Oh, one more thing. You’ll be amaze just how inexpensive our scraping solution is. They’re good and cheap to buy, and they save money that damage would otherwise take out of your pocket.
