Colours have poor vibrancy when printing on Backlit media or Transparent for Windows

Problem Solution Explanation
Colours appear weak when printing on Backlit or Translucent Vinyl for Lightboxes. We recommend using the function in the RIP colour management called 'overprint' to print 2x to acheive colour vibrancy when printing on Backlit or Translucent.

Greater ink opacity can be needed for internally illuminated graphics.

Colours appear weak when printing on Transparent for Window Graphics. If you wish to acheive transparent graphics, follow above suggetsions. If you wish to acheive fully opaque graphics, print in reverse onto transparent vinyl (eg: MD5-105), then laminate a White Vinyl (eg: MD5-100) on the reverse, and apply this to the window. Backing up the transparent vinyl with white vinyl restores the full colours.
