its adhesive system supporting its clean removal and easy application. Mediafleet’s latest programme involves German energy giant E-on. E-on has acquired, among others, Powergen. The company plans to re-brand its newly acquired assets and asked Mediafleet to propose a solution. Mediafleet designed a colour-wrap which was approved. Upwards of six hundred vehicles have been transformed into pristine looking E-on branded messages on the move so far.

Metamark in the meantime had to reschedule its film allocations and production phasing to satisfy the appetite for the Poppy Red M7 vinyl used to produce the wrap. With literally thousands of vehicles passing through its hands and acres of Metamark vinyl applied, there are some underlying subtleties that Mediafleet is keeping to itself. Mediafleet is also developing a related, but broader range of products and services designed to make vehicle supply cost efficient for leasing companies and more efficient from a procurement and operational point of view for the fleet operator.

The wrap is also going to do a fine job of protecting the vehicle from the battlerash it would otherwise pick up. Mediafleet offer a repair service for the life of the vehicle so costly error-prone paint matching is no longer an issue. Mediafleet is called in to remove the branding when the vehicle's service life ends. The job takes about two hours and the leasing company is handed back a vehicle with pristine paintwork. Because of its good condition and because it's white, the vehicle will have a higher value and this drives lower operating costs.

Metamark 7 Series is used for the coloured wraps. This is a high grade calendared vinyl and performs superbly in its wrapping role. Application techniques differ from those used for cast films.
